Directory

This is the Holiday Haps home page and directory.

Holiday Haps was created to help people find local, fun things to do during the holidays. This page was created out the frustration of one mom who found it very difficult to find local events like where to see fireworks on or around the 4th of July, or what kid-friendly Halloween activities were going on in her town. Here, Holiday Haps will list all the events we can find on the web, and enlist the help of our readers by asking for their tips on the "haps" around the holidays.
Holiday Haps is simply a collections of Holiday Happenings that people can search for by Holiday and/or City. Want to know what's going on this Christmas in Dallas? Or where to see fireworks in Sacramento? This is the place to find it all.

Holiday Haps is a very new site, just launched the end of October 2009. We will need lots of help to grow our lists in our first year, but hope by this time next year anyone who visits will hip to the haps in their town for any holiday!

Click on the state you wish to search below. This will take you to a list of cities in that state. For now, we are only working on California cities. The states are listed below in alphabetial order. For each state, you will find a list of its most populated cities. If an event is happening in a city that is not listed, please comment under that state's listing, or email the event details to haps@holidayhaps.com and we will add the event to our list.

Currently, we are only offering searches by City. Soon, you will be able to search by Holiday. And eventually, you will be able to search nation wide, with all 50 states listed here in this directory.
