2009 CalWORKs Cares Food, Toy & Clothes Drive is collecting food, toys and clothes to give to students and their families on Monday, December 7, 2009.
There are over 400 students who all have children. They are striving to obtain a better education and thus become self-sufficient.
It is hard economically for everyone, but for them even more. Some can't even afford to buy a turkey while some are looking for a home in which to even cook one.
Donations can be made through November 19th at 3835 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95822
Arrangements can be made for pick up service.
