Produced by The Downtown Sacramento Partnership
The Carnival at St. Rose is a 5-week event that will transform St. Rose of Lima Park at 7th & K streets into a festive winter carnival in lieu of the Downtown Holiday Ice Rink in 2009. Due to conflicts in construction schedules with the K Street Streetscape project and renovation of St. Rose of Lima Park, the DSP is taking one year off from producing the ice rink at St. Rose of Lima Park. The DSP plans to resume the holiday tradition in 2010.
The Carnival will open the day after Thanksgiving in time for Westfield’s Annual Tree Lighting and will remain open daily from Noon until 8 p.m. through January 3. Complete with classic carnival games, rides and food vendors, the carnival will bring the holidays to life at 7th & K streets. In the spirit of the season, the carnival will also incorporate live entertainment, a craft fair, charity events and more!
